We source sustainable materials and work with our own factories or those that demonstrate fair and appropriate employee conditions. Our wooden garden products carry the FSC® label. The forests from which we source our timber meet stringent criteria, including compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, rights of ownership for all indigenous people and the commitment to restoration of ecosystem services. The FSC® symbol, which represents responsible forestry worldwide, is on every piece of our beautiful wooden garden furniture.

Using recyclable materials

Alexander Rose is committed to sustainability and caring for our environment. Whenever we design a new product, an important part of the process for us is to consider how it will be packaged and how we can make it as easy as possible to recycle. Eco-friendly packaging is more than just a buzzword for us. We always maximise the use of recyclable materials and never over-package our products.   When you purchase Alexander Rose garden furniture, we hope you will join our commitment to a more responsible future.

Reducing plastic

In recent years, we’ve become painfully aware of the long-lasting damage plastic causes to our environment. It stays around for years, spreads toxins and poses a threat to wildlife. And, it is still commonly used within the manufacturing industry. Our mission at Alexander Rose has been to consider the use of plastics in our design process and buck this trend. We implement as many alternatives as possible in our ongoing efforts to be sustainable. When you order garden furniture from us, you’ll see and experience this commitment for yourselves, from the brown card and paper we use to wrap our products, held together with string and brown tape. We prefer to be as sustainable as possible. Our commitment to plastic reduction is a big part of who we are and what we stand for. We constantly strive to improve wherever we can, from the workshop floor to environmentally friendly cleaning products.
