Product features

Our Sherwood range is perfect for those looking for traditional style garden furniture, with a slight modern twist to keep it current and unique. All products within the range are made from the wonderfully versatile and durable Acacia hardwood.

All furniture within the range has a painted finish using an outdoor Polyurethane paint. All pieces, with exception to the White Acacia Drachmann bench have a brushed and slightly textured appearance, which has been through a careful and considered process to achieve the desired look. First, we smooth down the wood (which is standard practice for all our Timber ranges), then we deliberately rough the surface of each individual piece with a wire brush to get that signature “distressed” texture and then finally, we apply the paint. It’s a true example of quality craftsmanship, combined with quality materials – Win, win!

Whether you’re snoozing in the elegant Barley Sling Recliner, or sharing a pizza on the Gateleg Table, you can rest in the knowledge that the Sherwood range is FSC® 100% certified and responsibly sourced. The Forest Stewardship Council are an independent non-profit organisation that assures that the forests from which the timber originates meets the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

Care & maintenance

Made from Acacia timber the textured chestnut-brown finish is the result of 3 coats of paint. After time there will be hairline cracks and surface wear will appear in the finish due to the timber moving. After the first season, if you want to re-treat your furniture we advise removing any loose paint before applying a thin later of our Sherwood treatment.

FREE delivery on all orders over £50 to mainland UK.

Orders under £50 are charged at £4.99.

Delivery charges are calculated automatically at checkout.

Delivery to Non-Standard Locations

Additional charges apply for deliveries to non-mainland addresses, including the Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and the Republic of Ireland.

Delivery Timeframes 

In-stock items: Delivered within 7 to 10 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

Pre-ordered items: Lead times will vary. Your Sales Representative will confirm your estimated delivery window at the time of purchase.

Large & Pallet Deliveries (Kerbside Only)

Some large or heavy items are delivered via pallet. These deliveries are kerbside only, meaning:

The courier will drop the item at the nearest accessible point at your property boundary (e.g., driveway or front entrance).

This is a drop-off service only – it does not include:

  • Moving the item indoors
  • Assembly
  • Packaging removal

The courier will contact you in advance to arrange a suitable delivery date.

If you require a white glove delivery service, please contact us for a bespoke quote.

General Delivery Information

Your order will be delivered by Alexander Rose or one of our trusted delivery partners.

We aim to meet the delivery estimate provided in your Order Confirmation or by your Sales Representative, unless delayed by factors beyond our control.

If you’ve chosen collection, we’ll notify you of your collection window and confirm when your order is ready.

If a significant delay occurs, we’ll get in touch as soon as possible.

Delivery Completion

Delivery is considered complete once your items arrive at the address provided in your Order Confirmation.

Please make sure your delivery information is accurate – we cannot be held responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.

Someone must be available to accept delivery on the agreed date.
