Scope of Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects only, meaning faults present at the time of manufacture due to errors in structural materials or workmanship, and does not extend to normal wear and tear or fabric ageing.

For the purposes of this warranty, references to “materials” apply solely to the structural components of the product, including but not limited to frames, supports, joints, and other load‑bearing elements.

Fabric elements including canopies, cushions, slings, rope, and other textile components are not classified as structural materials. These items are subject to separate warranty periods, which are clearly stated on the relevant product pages, and are covered only within those specified timeframes.

The warranty applies only where a genuine manufacturing fault is present and does not apply to issues arising from normal use, ageing, weather exposure, or inadequate care.

What Is Not a Manufacturing Fault

The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are therefore not covered by this warranty:

  • Fair wear and tear
  • Cosmetic changes
  • Natural ageing or weathering
  • Fading caused by UV exposure
  • Shrinkage, expansion, or movement caused by temperature or moisture changes
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or failure to follow care instructions

Warranty Duration

The length of the warranty varies by product and is clearly stated on each product page. The warranty period begins from the date of dispatch and applies only to products purchased directly through our website.

Replacement parts or products do not extend or restart the original warranty period.

Exclusions and Limitations

We reserve the right to refuse warranty claims where:

  • The issue does not constitute a manufacturing defect
  • The product has been altered, repaired, or modified by a third party
  • The product shows evidence of misuse, neglect, or inappropriate storage
  • Damage is consistent with environmental exposure rather than faulty manufacture

The stated warranty duration represents the maximum warranty coverage period, not a guarantee against natural deterioration.

Product-Specific Warranty Details

Rattan Garden Furniture

The warranty covers structural damage, rust, and fading, excluding natural wear and tear. Extreme temperatures may cause rattan to expand or contract; this is a natural characteristic of the material and is not covered by the warranty.

Glass components are not covered by this warranty, except where damage is identified upon delivery and reported within 14 days of receipt, at which point a replacement may be arranged.

Due to the handwoven nature of rattan furniture, variations in colour, weave, and finish may occur. These natural and unique characteristics are not considered defects.

Wood Garden Furniture

This warranty covers structural integrity and abnormal manufacturing defects, excluding characteristics that naturally occur in timber.

Wood is a natural material that varies in grain, colour, and shape. Over time, joints may shift slightly and surface cracks may appear due to weathering. These natural changes are not considered defects.

By purchasing wooden furniture, you acknowledge and accept the natural characteristics and ongoing care requirements of hardwood timber products.

Metal Garden Furniture

The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects, including structural failure and weld defects, excluding natural wear and tear.

Metal furniture may be subject to surface corrosion over time, particularly where protective coatings are damaged or where items are exposed to harsh or coastal environments. Such corrosion is considered a natural occurrence and is not covered under this warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Scratches, chips, or abrasions to painted or powder‑coated finishes
  • Exposure to extreme weather conditions or standing water
  • Improper use, maintenance, or storage
  • Normal weathering or cosmetic changes that do not affect structural integrity

To maintain the appearance and longevity of metal furniture, regular cleaning and appropriate off‑season storage or cover use is recommended, in line with the product care guidelines.

Parasols

Parasols are covered by a 2‑year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. This includes canopy rips and tears, as well as the crank and tilt mechanism on aluminium crank‑and‑tilt parasols.

Damage caused by high winds, misuse, or incorrect bases is not covered. Parasols should always be used with a suitable base and closed and covered when not in use.

Canopy

The canopy is backed by a 2‑year warranty that applies to faults arising from manufacturing or material defects, excluding fair wear and tear.

Covers

All outdoor furniture covers come with a 1-year warranty for natural rips at the seams.

Damage caused by force, cutting, or misuse is not covered.
Assessment of damage will determine whether it is due to misuse or a manufacturing fault.
Fading caused by sunlight exposure is not covered under this warranty.

Cushions

Cushions are covered by a 2‑year warranty against manufacturing and material defects, excluding fair wear and tear, misuse, or inadequate care.

Cushions should be stored indoors when not in use, unless specifically stated otherwise by the manufacturer.
Furniture covers are not suitable for prolonged outdoor cushion storage and do not provide sufficient protection against moisture or weather exposure.

Failure to store cushions correctly may invalidate the warranty.
