The Albany collection is crafted from Dark Acacia hardwood, responsibly sourced from Vietnam. Supplied with a 5 year warranty and an expected lifespan of up to 10 years, Albany is designed to deliver lasting performance outdoors.

Dark Acacia is a dense, durable hardwood with rich, expressive grain patterns. Because it is a natural material, no two pieces are exactly alike - each item has its own distinctive character.

Natural Characteristics of Solid Wood

As Albany adjusts to its outdoor environment, you may notice some natural changes:
• Small splits or cracks can appear within days or weeks of being placed outside. This is a normal characteristic of solid hardwood and does not affect the strength, safety, or durability of the furniture.
• A distinctive “zebra” colour variation may develop shortly after exposure to the elements, where some areas of the timber lighten while others darken. This is entirely natural.
• Over time, these tonal variations will soften, with the wood typically weathering to a more even silvery grey finish within one to two months outdoors.

These changes are part of the natural ageing process of hardwood and are not considered defects.

Outdoor Performance

Outdoor wooden furniture is designed to live outside, but it will naturally respond to sunlight, rain, humidity, and seasonal temperature changes. With the correct care and maintenance, your Albany furniture will retain its appearance and remain structurally sound for many years.

Routine Care & Maintenance
To keep your Albany furniture looking its best, we strongly recommend the following:
• Treat the wood at least twice a year using a suitable timber care product such as our Wood Shield, oil, or sealer. Regular treatment helps protect the surface from moisture, UV exposure, and general weathering.
• Clean periodically using our Teak Cleaner (SKU: BOTGT2) or warm water with a mild soap to remove dirt, algae, and surface contaminants.
• Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the wood surface and reduce the effectiveness of protective treatments.
• Use outdoor furniture covers whenever possible to minimise prolonged exposure to extreme weather and slow the natural ageing process.

Regular maintenance is essential to help prevent avoidable cosmetic changes and to ensure your furniture continues to perform as intended.

Some large pieces and sets are delivered on a pallet.

This is a Kerbside service, which means:

• Delivery to the nearest accessible point at your property
• No carrying items inside
• No assembly included
• No pallet and packaging removal

You’ll be contacted in advance to arrange a suitable weekday delivery date.

If you’d prefer installation and packaging removal, our White Glove option may be a better fit.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY SERVICE - £129

For fully managed experience, choose our premium two-person delivery service:

• Delivery to your garden or location of choice
• Full assembly of your outdoor furniture
• Removal and responsible disposal of all packaging
• Our delivery partner will contact you to arrange a weekday delivery date

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS

Before delivery, please ensure:

• Doorways, gates and pathways are wide enough
• Access routes are clear
• Suitable parking is available for our delivery team

If access is restricted, for example upper floors without lift access or narrow staircases, additional charges may apply.

It’s important to flag any access limitations when ordering. Orders cannot be cancelled due to undisclosed access constraints, and we cannot accept responsibility for issues arising from restricted access.

DELIVERY COMPLETION

Delivery is considered complete once your order reaches the address listed on your Order Confirmation.
