Product features

An acrylic based coating designed for the restoration of Alexander Rose Sherwood furniture where the finish has become damaged, weathered or worn off.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILE WE HAVE TRIED OUR BEST TO ACHIEVE A COLOUR MATCH TO THE FACTORY SHERWOOD FINISH, THERE MAY BE A VARIATION IN COLOUR. WE RECOMMEND TREATING THE ENTIRETY OF YOUR FURNITURE TO ACHIEVE THE BEST UNIFORM RESULT.

Preparation

Ensure timber surface is free from dirt and loose material. Lightly rub down surface with fine sandpaper to ensure even adhesion.

Application

Application should take place in dry conditions and should be protected from rainfall for at least 24 hours. Sherwood Treatment can be applied using either a fine brush or short fibre roller. Avoid over applying the product as this will cause surface saturation and may lead to prolonged drying and excessive sheen. For best results, 2 coats of finish can be applied, leaving 2-3 hours drying time between coats.

Coverage

When applied as a thin coat, Sherwood Treatment will cover at the maximum rate of about 500ml per 4 to 6 square metres, either by brush or by fine roller

Delivery

Standard delivery to mainland UK is FREE.

We will advise you of any delivery costs during the order process.

Your order will be delivered to you by us or our delivery partner. Unless there is an event outside of our control, we will take reasonable steps to meet the delivery date set out on your Order Confirmation or as otherwise agreed with you.

If you have asked to collect the Products from us, we will advise as to an estimated collection date during the order process. We will send you an email to confirm when you can collect the Products. If we are unable to meet the estimated delivery date or time because of an event outside of our control we (or our delivery partner) will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the Contract and receive a refund for any Products you have paid for but not received.

Delivery will be completed when the Products are delivered to the address stated in the Order Confirmation (so please make sure that the delivery details you provide are accurate as we cannot be responsible for any delayed or failed deliveries as a result of your error).

You are responsible for making suitable arrangements to receive your delivery. Please make sure you or someone instructed by you is able to take delivery of the Products. Deliveries of large items needing to be delivered on a pallet will be via a kerbside courier service, our courier will call to book in delivery on a convenient day.
